To be fair, this is good advice no matter what your job and no matter your employer. #KnowYourRights in any employment dispute. The @nlrbgov.bsky.social is a great resource in this regard. ...while it lasts, anyways.

I've always wondered about this. What's the point of debating stare decisis and rules of evidence when the defendant can just stand up in court, murder the jury, request a mistrial, and kill the judge if he refuses? Especially if the BAILIFF is the one who actually pulls the trigger on his behalf?

I used to live in PR, and this doesn't surprise me in the least. AEE (the PR utility company) was a hot mess even on a GOOD day. Genera PR is probably just as bad, or even worse. Even before Maria. Even before the debt crisis. The entire PR grid has languished--under both PPD and PNP leadership.
