15,000 people RSVP’d for this monumental event. OVER 36,000 people stepped up and showed up to be part of the Fighting the Oligarchy event in L.A. on Saturday!! Our movement is absolutely massive, and building by the day!!

The U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services has repeatedly claimed: “If you’re healthy, it’s almost impossible to die from an infectious disease in modern times.” That is dangerously false. www.medscape.com/viewarticle/...

The four law firms that it was announced are now Trump collaborators -- Kirkland & Ellis, Latham & Watkins, Simpson Thacher, and A&O Shearman Sterling -- ALSO agreed today to "Disavow DEI" as part of a settlement with EEOC. Why would any new associate join such a place? Why would any partner stay?

Me. Truth! 👸❤️‍🔥🫂💋🤺🛡⚔️🔥🌋🔥🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Tell Republicans in Congress: PROTECT MEDICAID, NOT TAX BREAKS FOR BILLIONAIRES!

Don’t worry—getting social security checks will work just as well as X support

Like all fascist authoritarian regimes pretending to be a pro democratic administration, Trump, Mike Johnson, and Republicans don't want you to vote. 😳👇

public comment period for the proposed rule to remove trans care from the ACA as an essential health benefit & strip care from DACA recipients ends at 23:59pm EDT tonite if you haven't commented, it won't take long & is worth doing. context & guidance in-thread ⬇️ if you have commented, thank you💜🏳️‍⚧️

Hey, go do this, please. I have health insurance through the ACA, and if this rule went into effect, it would mean that while I'd still be paying a ridiculous amount in premiums, the plans I'd be able to get wouldn't actually cover my health needs.

Democrats aren’t backing down — they’re doubling down. They just added 5 new dates to the People’s Town Hall series because apparently MAGA Republicans would rather hide behind Fox News than face real Americans. They’re scared of questions. Dems are showing up with answers. Let’s 👏🏾 freaking 👏 go👏🏻

I saw this on the cesspool. 🤦‍♀️🤣

Senators Adam Schiff and Ruben Gallego have asked for "an urgent inquiry" into whether President Trump or others engaged in insider trading on advanced knowledge of his tariff policy changes.

In the last 48 hours, congressional Republicans have done so much damage to Americans. Here are the 5 truly harmful things they passed. 👇🧵

When Social Security wrongly declares someone dead, it ruins their lives. Imagine, in one Trump administration keystroke, losing your income, your health insurance, access to your bank account, your credit cards, your home, and more.

The House just passed the SAVE Act—but we see it for what it is: a blatant attack on our voting rights. At a time when our jobs, schools, and vital services are under attack, working people won’t be silenced. This fight is far from over. #ProtectVotingRights

Musk has tried to spin providing Starlink as charity, posting that “Starlink terminals are being sent at NO COST to the taxpayer on an emergency basis to restore air-traffic-control connectivity.” However, FAA officials quietly and quickly located tens of millions of dollars to fund a Starlink deal.

All this "fraud" and yet still not a single fraud charge filed.

My latest scoop:

Every senator and member of Congress should immediately and voluntarily disclose any stock, bond, or similar trades they have made in the last ten days.

I’ve got two Gen Z kids, and I can tell you—neither of them is going to line up to work in an iPhone factory. That’s just not how Gen Z rolls. If we’re serious about rebuilding U.S. manufacturing, we need to invest in training and build high-skill, high-value products—not chase cheap labor.

Trump took his tariff insider trading scheme to Congress and made Marjorie Taylor Greene an offer she couldn’t refuse. MTG is now a gleeful participant in Trump’s crime spree.

Seriously? Because we were told they were going to deport violent criminals.

••••••••BREAKING•••••••• SOCIAL SECURITY UPDATES Public outrage and demands by lawmakers seem to have resulted in telephone access to Social Security services being restored. An internal memo reveals the Trump regime and DOGE have suddenly ditched their plans to force people awarded retirement,…

Republicans just passed a budget that guts Medicaid, SNAP, veterans’ benefits, and free school lunches. They swore they'd fix the economy—but this sure as hell ain’t it.

The House just passed its budget resolution, so reconciliation is now officially underway. This is their bill to destroy Medicaid and SNAP while cutting taxes disproportionately for the rich. THIS IS VERY REAL and can be enacted even if all Ds vote no. Thread on what's to come and WHERE TO FIGHT.

Some perspective: Trump achieved nothing yesterday. “This still leaves the United States as the most tariff-heavy industrialized country in the world, and it’s not even close.”

the basic problem facing american democracy is that one party has decided it wants a king and will hand over as much authority as is necessary to make that happen

The SAVE Act, a.k.a the Save the Republicans' Asses Act, is a shameless attempt to block Americans—especially married women—from voting. Requiring birth certificates to cast a ballot? That’s not election security. That’s voter suppression.

More reports coming in that yesterday's announcement by the President was much less than it appeared to be. JPM: "while the markets may have forced the President’s hand to change tack on tariffs, the revised announcement still entails the highest tariff rates in 100 years..." 1/2

You know what to do! Call your Senators every day! 202-224-3121. I called mine today-did you?!

They talk about dictators while helping Trump deport people straight back into their hands. Rubio, Salazar, Giménez & Diaz-Balart are enabling human rights violations—against their community. You don’t get to respond to us by placing a pathetic billboard while selling out those who trusted you.

I still got some of the old reflexes. See a nominee withdraw like this and you know. Okay what they find? Affair, embezzlement, DUIs. Alas, someone found out she said Trump was trash right after Jan 6. End of the road. www.eenews.net/articles/tru...

FOUR DEMOCRATS???? WHAT THE FUCK?????????

BREAKING: In a 220-208 vote, with four Democrats voting in favor, the House passes the SAVE Act, a bill that could strip voting rights from millions of Americans. From: @jaknutson.bsky.social

Trump cares more about making par than about your retirement account...

“It’s the most extraordinary attack on voting rights in American history,” Wilentz said. “This is an attempt to destroy American democracy as we know it. www.democracydocket.com/analysis/the...

The president of the United States and his cronies LAUGHING over the million$ they made off the backs of financially devastated hard working Americans due to market manipulation. Hearings, NOW. 😡 @schumer.senate.gov @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social

“He made 2.5 million today and he made $900 million. That’s not bad.” Sounds like market manipulation to me. That’s bad.

Federal workers fear Musk’s ‘efficiency’ agency is using AI to spy on them: ‘They are omnipresent.’ At the Department of Veterans Affairs, a senior official warned employees in an email that virtual meetings were being secretly recorded. #MomSky #Voices4Victory www.theguardian.com/us-news/ng-i...

MAGA: It’s a comeback! Reality:

“The unstoppable force of crashing markets versus the immovable object of Donald Trump’s belief in the salutary power of tariffs: For days, everyone’s been wondering which would win. On Wednesday, we got our answer. Trump’s plenty stubborn, but he blinked first.”

Republicans pulled their budget vote—surprise! They’re too busy fighting each other to govern. They might be split on the math, but they agree on this: cutting services for working families & rewarding billionaires. This ain’t a budget—it’s a blueprint to rob the people.

This is a bad look. Bottom line.

Like the meme says, you can't lose an election if nobody can vote. With TX disenfranchising a Dem House district, and a coup over an NC judicial race, GOP strategy for coping with Trump's shrinking presidency hinges on voter suppression My new column www.inquirer.com/columnists/a...

Now they see it. Trump isn’t fixing the system—he’s breaking it. So many Americans are saying ‘enough is enough,’ and my Democratic colleagues and I are united in not only pushing back, but putting forth people-centered policy that actually makes a difference.
