Doge is also playing false with how they count savings. They are giving contract values instead of dollars remaining on the contract. Lots more but it gets more complicated than a tweet can convey accurately.

I’ve seen arguments between people that basically boil down to, “it can’t be fixed, so tear it down/get out” vs “it can be fixed if we all stick/work together”. If we were in a boat, some of us are manning the lifeboats while some of us are manning the pumps. Both of those choices are valid. 1/2
