Sunday morning con game was fun. We (mostly) escaped from Legally Distinct Jurassic Park. As the token kid I didn't really do that much but I did launch a makeshift anti- electric pterodactyl catapult.

Day 17: hub area. The one in Time Stalkers/Climax landers. Climaxland? I like how the NPCs all have personality and are always wandering around interacting with each other and there are scenes to discover everywhere. Although I'd prefer it to actually resemble actual other Climax games.

The third game was fun too. Ironsworn- vaguely Norse mythology inspired dark fantasy. I played as a sea god priest/bard with a hawk companion.

I'm enjoying this weekend's ttrpg convention games. The first game was Slugblaster aka psychedelic futuristic reality-hopping teenagers on hoverboards. I ended up making a portal gun and using it to lure paradox-eating jungle cats to harass the police.

Favourite titie screen: The ones that change depending in what you do in the game. Later Trails games, xenoblade games, Undertale. Shadow hearts has a fun twist on this - it does it on the Game Over Screen depending on how you died!

Huh, I went past the new burger & sauce in #Sheffield and they gave me free food. I had a nice fish burger and fries. I think it's half price the rest of the week, I just got there really early. There was a DJ too! 🐟 🍔 🍟

Tonight we tried out Rose & Camellia, a slightly bat-shit insane game where you are noble ladies who slap each other. It is one of, like, three or four games that does anything with the Switch's touch screen and motion controls. I'm bad at dodging slaps in it, just like irl.
