Revisiting the Dobscography, Part VI Virginia Slim Comes Riding In (2022) A shift in direction, embracing my love for infectious grooves and jamming... but all by myself. I played/mixed/mastered everything from my home studio. Released on cassette via @warhenrecords.bsky.social, still a few left!

Revisiting the Dobscography, Part V New Dystopia (2020) My first proper solo record, featuring a bunch of my favorite LA musicians (Kosta Galanopolous, Tyler Cash, Riley Geare, Ryan Pollie, Olaf Selland, Louis Cohen, Teddy Grossman). Spacey Americana with synths. If Neil Young was in Pink Floyd.

Revisiting the Dobscography, Part IV Big Air - Significant Moments (2015) Recorded early summer 2014 at the original Spacebomb studio in Richmond, VA. Balls still to the wall. Fuzz still dimed. Highlights: Wait Around, Something, and an early version of On Our Own. A cool compendium of cruisers.

Revisiting the Dobscography, Part III Big Air - Buds (2014) "Their vocals smack of Mac McCaughan, their guitars recall J Mascis or Milk Music… their self-released tape Buds is an infectious pop punk record by a pair of dudes with some serious chops." - @see-saw.fun, Pitchfork

Revisiting the Dobscography, cont’d. Big Air - Inner Facing, Outer Spacing (2018) via @warhenrecords.bsky.social The only proper record from Big Air 2.0. Mostly recorded at Kingsize Soundlabs in Eagle Rock, which had a killer 70s Neve console at the time. I miss that band and ripping these tunes.

Revisiting the Dobscography. Big Air - Don’t Care (2015) “A chaotic mass of swirling guitars, scorched vocals and throbbing tension… the kind of racket that manages to feel relentlessly imposing and in-your-face while still feeling momentous and sprawling.” – @goldflakepaint.bsky.social

I love Rob like a brother. We’ve been riding together for a long time and Be Easy is his best one yet. Digital only but there are a couple bundle options where you can grip some of his previous WH jammers on the cheap. Highly rec’d! robdobson.bandcamp.com/album/be-easy

Dropped my latest album, Be Easy, last month via @warhenrecords.bsky.social. Available wherever you jam your jams. 🤙
