The 4 Nations Game, which is meant to be a celebration of hockey has been so soured by the curent political climate (mostly by the orange asshat). Though he managed to make our country united and made yesterday's hockey game a heritage moment. So Trump, get fucked.

Despite the fact that some streets were cleared, this incredible snowstorm we got still makes it difficult to get to places. I had to bring the kids by car to their school as their bus were very much ultra late, that made me realize some families might be stuck still waiting right now...

Trump: Inflation will be the lowest ever under me Also Trump:

Remember America, you voted for Project 2025.

The very fact we're floating the idea of posting soliders at the border between Canada and US is absolutely bonkers. Honestly, I'm scared and sad at the state of things and how the US are about to fall into absolute insanity.

Shadow Generations has been quite a trip though I have to admit the firsts levels are clearly the highlight of the entire game while the rest, apart from the very last set of levels, is pretty standard. All in all, I agree with most critics, takes Sonic Frontier's mess and makes it cohesive. 8/10

RTO is the single dumbest step back in workers right in a long time and one of the many reasons I start and think unions might not be such a bad idea. It's will never be to the benefit of the employee, never.

I've been enjoying Shadow Generations a whole shitton, most of the levels are amazingly well made and honestly, it's nice we get some closure on the edgy hedgehog. All went well until I hit Radical Highway. I dare believe one of the worst god damn built level I have ever encountered.

The absolute sad part with the whole Elon thing is that we are seeing this huge wave of apologist or mental gymnasts to explain what they saw. It was Nahtzee salut and that's the end of it. Stop lying to yourself.

Guess what, a rivetting single player game will always be better than some watered down Live-Service bullshit.

Manifesting is dumb. It's having this magical thinking that good things will and should happen to you regardless of what you do. The unfortunate part is wanting things is always a good thing, but you have to work hard to make it happen. Manifesting is just 5% getting to your goal.

Hey America, that's going to be 4 years of this. You voted for that.

The car industry is in a rut, a real bad one. Everything is a god damned SUV. Small cars? Fuck that. But for a lot of us, a SUV is way too much. Maybe, the key is smaller more affordable car? Like we used to do about a decade ago? That would be nice.

Trump seems to want Canada to be part of the US, stating they want to use "economic force". Except most companies there are about to suffer full on the joy of tarrifs and there's a critical bubble that will blow real soon. In a year's time, Cheeto will change his tune. Mark my word.

I have come to the realisation that while Warhammer 40K is a big bummer universe, it's not as stupidly bummer all over as the whole Diablo universe, notably Sanctuary. There's not ONCE fucking moment where everything is not getting shitted on by demons or angels.

You might wait for certain non urgent care in Canada, but you will never be denied treatment because some ass got told to value shareholders over your life. Or go bankrupt because your life depended on it. And this is further why I will never live in the US.

I finally had time to finish "Play Nice" from @jasonschreier.bsky.social and not only did I learn a lot about Blizzard, helped me better understand about a company I used to love so much and made me better understand why I fell out of love with it. A definite must read.

Pretty much officially Christmas season now.

One thing is certain Jack Dorsey is having his sweet vengeance moment with Bluesky. Users are leaving in droves X, not keeping bot account but burning bridges with the previous platform. It's a reckoning that Threads failed to initiate.

Tabletop creators leave X for Bluesky in droves

Geoff Keighley never does these events to represent the industry. It always been about creating marketable moments for video game companies to do a trailer deluge to the highest bidder and close friends (eg Kojima) The Game Awards are no different.

OH IRONY, YOU BEAUTIFUL THING.

Sometime, I firmly believe that my job ressembles a MMORPG. First I create a guild chat for all the developper with the same interest. Then I create a monthly guild meeting to talk about what goes on between us. And now, I want a guild hall to keep documentation and objectives for all.

A lot of people are about "battle station pictures", what about a whole ass office tour? I'm pretty proud of all the work I put in my office and now, I offer you a tour!

Des fois, j'aime mes selfies.

Regardless of the bad news we got from the states, in Québec, a huge victory for remote workers has been won: RTO mandates are much more complicated to enact from now on due to a judgement from the Tribunal Administratif du Travail. (1/2)

I'm rather disgusted to how certain companies are buying in Gen AI as a way to cheap out on labour and replace creative work, not as a tool to elevate the work. Netflix is the new company to embrace this as they closed a AAA studios full of veterans to announce a GenAI game studio the week after.

Apparently, Blue Sky is finally happening. So here I am.
