Listen, y'all. I live in the middle of nowhere and am alone most of the day with no car. Amazon is often my only chance to get something. And if I have to have a rough few weeks for the people who bring me that vital stuff to be treated better & paid well? I'll gladly have a rough few weeks.

Some folks are pretty good seeing things coming.

An excellent question, because it reveals how taking an ethical action is curtailed by our current economic norms. Before we can do the obviously right thing, we have to justify the expense, because allowing someone to live a healthy life is not in itself valuable to us. bsky.app/profile/ther...
