Finished Pirate Yakuza last night after about 30 hours in it and it was a great game that could have its lead role filled by anyone in the Like a Dragon series. AKA needed more Majima-centric things like Kiryu’s last game. Forever amazed by the mechanics of the game, so much fun!

To continue last week’s Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- #Japanboxoffice update, the advance screening of the upcoming anime came in 2nd in the weekend charts, by only 1,000 people. It took number 1 in box office gross though, likely thanks to all the premium showings (IMAX, Dolby)

No matter how many times you see a film, seeing it in a theater is just a whole different-and fantastic-expierence. I don’t think I’ve jumped that many times watching Jurassic Park. Truly a classic. The 3D wasn’t that bad either, just the processing on the IMAX image and some smoothing.

Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- continues to do fantastically in Japan cinemas, making an estimated 550 million yen over the second weekend for an estimated total of 1.4 billion yen (US$9 million) so far. It again lands at number one in audience rankings too.
