@jthomas411mania.bsky.social Genuinely loved the new podcast! Opinion question: is Ravenous cannibal horror, and, separate and apart from that specific question, thoughts on Ravenous?

If you would like to hear some of my very favorite people talk about horror and their relationship to it (and you should want that very much!), HAVE I GOT GREAT NEWS FOR YOU!!!

@jibbi.bsky.social Are y'all heading to GenCon this year? We got our badges and a hotel actually in walking distance this time!

Oh my god, this has me CRYING... 🤣

@josephrlewis.bsky.social Really enjoyed hearing you on this week’s #ShipOfTheDead talking to @limithron.bsky.social! Also psyched you’ll be at Gameface — I’ll be there running the Goodman Games booth. Do you have a booth or are you running games? If the latter, any games after the booths close?

Started up two new games for two kids’ groups yesterday — one running @felixisaacs.bsky.social’s Wildsea and one running @brendanlasalle.bsky.social’s Xcrawl Classics. Talk about tonal whiplash! But both are off to a great start, and it just goes to show: great games will always find their players.

In 1970, John Boorman of Zardoz fame wrote a film treatment of LotR. It is a STINKER of a film, although there are some legitimately interesting ideas tucked into it. I read it so you won't have to! A🧵 of the best and worst pieces of John Boorman's LORD OF THE RINGS SCREENPLAY.

Caitlin is great, her books are great, and this video made me grin, so good stuff all around! Go pre-order or get yourself an advance copy!

@purpleproselady.bsky.social 🤣🤣🤣

Completed a rough draft of a single #XCrawl tournament room that will be included in a very special charity product. If you know, you know. Look out for a playtest on the DungeonCrawlers discord discord.gg/EzcjSQGj

This is how I read blogs every morning

Bump for this as we released it yesterday. 52 pages of pay what you want (i.e. free) stuff to get a taste of DIE.

What's a movie that is wildly considered bad but you love it proudly?

Ready to be an absolute menace tomorrow.

Dang, I just randomly remembered A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night — what a great movie. I need to watch that again soon.

I am beyond excited about going to my wonderful local con, #GamefaceCon, next month, and for my first time in a professional capacity! Legitimately a dream come true — I’d forgotten what it was like to have a job that you actually enjoy.

It’s taken a lot of hunting, but I’m really excited to bring @awintory.bsky.social’s hauntingly gorgeous Journey soundtrack home.

Wow, that was fast! Huge kudos to @seanmccoy.bsky.social and #TuesdayKnightGames — two days from online order to my door! Excited to dig in!

I mean, you basically get an iconic horror film and a whole-ass folk concert all in one; how can you go wrong? My ★★★★ review of The Wicker Man (1973) on Letterboxd: https://boxd.it/8P3WLj #TheWickerMan #Horror #Letterboxd #Filmsky #Horrorsky

@keith-baker.com Hello sir! The afterschool group for which I run games has decided on a D&D Western for their next campaign, so Quickstone was an easy choice. I was wondering if you have suggestions for other books you like on that theme or area that I should pick up in preparation?

And here (joyfully) is more… @docwebb.bsky.social @guttertongue.bsky.social #orc #fantasyart #D&D elodieskyshard.com/2025/02/11/e...
