It's the deadening impact of Trump and his goons delusional conspiracy theory on the American Scientific Community that frightens me. Why bother with research, learning and proven fact when you can just make things up and lie. This is the new philistinism, chilling.

Read today of the "suicide" of Russian singer and mountaineer Vadim Stroykin during a visit by the Russian "Security Services". This comes after the numerous mysterious "deaths" of dissidents. Will Trump raise this with the criminal Putin? Of course not, this could easily be the US within 4 years.
