I'm deep in the Internet Archives today! [ #foundmedia #media #weirdcore #nostalgiacore #webcore #fyp ]

What types of drum beats are your favorite to dance or jam out to? Danceability has become a point of interest since witnessing everyone in attendance suddenly standing&moving when I performed my most danceable song. I dance but not like, a lot. So I'm curious: what styles inspire y'all to shake it?

miffed I couldn't finish the song a day I was cookin yesterday. I'm sure it'll find its way onto a different release before long but it would've been an ideal track 4 for the current album. Black and white 180 vibe shift from I Like To Be Fat. In another timeline it's slipshod but done and on there

The cutting room floor is getting cluttered as I continue work on Song-A-Day Volume 4. I'm up to 6 attempts in a row that haven't become finished songs within 24 hours 😵‍💫 it would behoove me to consider simplifying things a bit. Some of these big ole ideaz can't come together that fast.

@remarkablemedia.cafe treasures untold

Ok yeah, sooo much prettier with the triangle wave. Sounds closer to an organ too so authenticity points. Triangle wins. Triangle man.

I entered a Bach chorale into beepbox.co for fun and leisure, and to feature the square wave after mentioning I like it yesterday. "Wer hat dich so geschlagen" from his St. John's passion. It's about feeling ugh just super sad and guilty about Jesus getting killed. Absolutely beautiful harmony IMO

choose your fav wave. For me it is the Square, but I like them all. #musicsky

Yes good

2 attempted Song-A-Days have not made it to the light of day since the last one I posted. But new additions to my collection of unfinished songs and fragmentce are welcome. Back to the Dawing board. The DAWing board. the DAW-ing

I wonder if it being called granola has anything to do with the granules it's compromised of

I've been trying more with each iteration of Song-A-Day to craft throughlines as I go and end up with something that actually feels like an album rather than a compilation of unrelated works. It adds difficulty but also makes things simpler. Track one is v important in this workflow. SET THE TONE

VEGA INTL. Night School by Neon Indian is one of my fav albums. Nonstop vibes. Goopy synths. Thicque bass. VHS patina. A deeply danceable hour in a stylin' alternate early 90's where everyone is driving sooped up motorcycles in the Big City At Night. I am always stoked to revisit.
