Wow that was a different team today. Marmoush was MotM , but honourable mentions for Johnny Stones who didn't give Isak a sniff, and for Savinho who roasted Lewis Hall. Nico G gave the team solidiity, Gundo played like his old self with him alongside.

My mid-point review of City’s 2024/25 season for @guardian_sport. Definitely the first time I’ve properly put the boot in during Guardiola’s tenure. But I think it’s fair enough. Desperately need a win (and 3 points!) vs. Leicester today. Otherwise… 😬🔪 RTs appreciated #MCFC.

The drop off is scary to watch in real time.It's so sad to see our greatest ever team collapse like this in front of our eyes, but it really brought it home to me that this version of Pep's Team is over. We might as well write off this season and begin the rebuild in January. 2/2.

Had time over a drink to mull over what I saw today. Watching up close brings home the disintegration of this team. It's following the same pattern as the last few weeks. Start off OK and Pep's latest permutation seems to be working, then fade till we start gifting the opposition the win. 1/2
