Bluesky needs more ideological diversity, a thread: 1/8: I think the question of why commentators like Matt Yglesias, Lakshya Jain, Noah Smith, Nate Silver and Richard Hanania don’t post more, or at all on Bluesky is important. This would be a better platform if they did.

As I’ve said, yes, this was their aim all along. That’s why they didn’t just send these people to Gitmo. This is an attempt to find a step beyond Gitmo where the court says, “Well, our hands are tied.” It’s an awful, lawless gambit that must fail, but that is what they want it to be.

Again Jailhouse Idiot here: Whether lawyers et al want to admit it or not, they know Abrego isn't coming back, nor the other 70% that had no criminal records. SCOTUS reset the rules of engagement with the deference statement AND telling judges to say in their lane. What lawyers should be 1/3
