How does Clark hide the Cape when he’s in his suit?

Got distracted and didn’t have time to watch a feature, so I finished off National Canadian Film Day with four shorts. Three David Cronenberg and one Jeff Barnaby.

I unintentionally bought two somewhat related items today. I’ve been after The Miner for a while, and the Toys R Us clearance finally made him affordable. Walmart sadly only had the DVD version of Heart Eyes, but I’ll take what I can get because it’s still my favourite movie of 2025 so far.

The cover of Boys Of Summer by The Ataris is now older than the Don Henley version was when they first released it.

This weeks #ZombieSteve52 takes us to the one place that HADN’T been corrupted by capitalism at the time this Tim Curry gem was filmed.

Sure there's all the normal stuff people would do with time travel, but I also 100% go back to record Street Games and other Canadian made for TV films from Emmeritus that seem to be otherwise lost to time.

Ah yes, 2005… the future! #NowWatching Trancers 3.

Does The Martian count as a “space movie” if it takes place (I assume) mostly on the surface of Mars? I need to figure this out before next week. Discuss.

Mail arrived today

While I don’t rule out plays on places like Spotify or other formats, I do wonder when the last time someone listened to Tiffany on vinyl was.

Apr 8th 1995 - 30 Years ago today, #RexManningDay. Rex Manning, a former 80's pop idol, arrived at #EmpireRecords. 📽️📅 Empire Records (1995)

I think the fact that Google auto populates Coming To America before Coming Soon Cineplex (I’m Canadian) is a sign I picked a good comedy for this week’s #ZombieSteve52

When you have this burger on the menu, you should have hand sanitizer on the table next the the mustard.

Ladies and gentlemen... the weekend. (also: you are important and are not alone 🧡)

This is Roger. After collapsing in his foster home, he spent 3 nights in the ER and was given a life expectancy of just a few months. His human decided to spoil him with some pizza and his mood and health turned around so much that his doctor believes his heart murmur is no longer a concern ❤️‍🩹

This is real. This really just happened.

Im finally about to start watching Severance and it’s because of this video.

I’ve had this one on my watchlist for a while, and Sports week for #ZombieSteve52 seemed like a good time to crack it out. Keira Knightley is so young here. 😱
