Your regular reminder that people who rely on the phrase "common sense" are absolute frauds.

The NFL Play-offs are here 😁 A brilliant month of some of the best sport every year begins (even if your own team didn't make it this season 😬). Love it! #NFLβ€―β€―β€― #NFLPlayoffs

I hope this person never watches Poirot. They'll be baffled as to why murderers will gladly volunteer to show up at a venue, that will have both police and a famous detective also in attendance, knowing that a systematic process will deduce they are guilty. But, Poirot is still really enjoyable.

This Copa90 documentary (4 episodes- 30mins each) is really good. Absolutely recommend it.

Happy that credibility is finally restored to the Heavyweight title after several years of nonsense. The two Usyk v Fury fights have done that. I would be happy to see a third in 2025.

Given the team we had out, I'll definitely settle for the win - especially after we got away with the Quansah foul at the end. Second half felt disappointing after the quality shown in the first half though. Still, on we march... #LFC

I'm happy with that draw.

In July, I FOI'd the Home Office for the full breakdown of spending on the Rwanda scheme I was refused because the government planned to publish the data in future, and today is the day. These numbers are in millions www.gov.uk/government/p...

5 days ago, the eyes of the football world were upon us. "We'll see what Liverpool are really like after this week". The answer? These Reds are the real fucking deal. Believe it. #LFC

NEW: Why do we always think crime is rising, even when it isn’t? This week I looked at one of the big data mysteries. Britain is 2/3 less violent than the 1990s; thefts were higher pre-lockdown Why, then, doesn’t it feel like it? 1/8 @thetimes.com πŸ”— www.thetimes.com/article/b63d...

From 1932

Gary Neville, a highly paid and the highest profile 'analyst', doesn't realise that a referee may delay a penalty decision for a few seconds because he's in communication with his two assistants. Football has the worst television analysts of any sport. The quality is abysmal.

Footy is brilliant, isn't it? What a performance that was from the Reds. Let's see what we can achieve from here if we can add another win on Sunday. Up the fucking top of all the leagues Reds! #LFC

Trust City to end their losing run just before they play us... #LFC

Well, despite deciding to continue with the theme of self-harm for another 20 minutes in the second half, eventually some of the players remembered they are actually quite good and started performing like it.A very fortunate 3 points, but a very very important 3 points. Up the 8pts clear Reds! #LFC

Can we make 10 substitutions at half time? Is that possible? Feel like I've been watching two League One teams for 45 minutes. Just a horrible performance so far. There's a big opportunity available here and no indication that the players want to take it. #LFC

Post a show you're positive no-one remembers but you.

Can recommend this πŸ‘

Roger Federer has always been a class act and this is just brilliant. Some of those Federer v Nadal matches were some of the best sport - not just tennis - there's ever been. The end of an era, but what an era it was πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Oh yeah? Name twenty-five of their albums.

I could watch Chiefs v Bills games every week. They always seem to be absolute classics. #NFL

Utterly shameful. #WorldBollardAssociation

This is exactly what she meant.

Made up for Curtis - he played well and scored a high quality goal. I don't want him playing two games every international break though 😬 Maybe have a 4/10 performance on Sunday, lad...

For those not familiar... bang on. youtu.be/W7-sE3if0pQ?...

This is really good. There are important pillars of society that we just expect to exist and expect to function. Many of those pillars have been eroded or under attack for over a decade. Breaking point is here.

Excellent BBCing by the BBC here. It's good that there will always be some things you can rely on in a crazy world.

Never knew this. Seems expensive though! The ice cream guy who served our estate when I was a kid met a tragic end, sadly. The van was found parked up in a lay-by and his body was found inside, covered in flakes, raspberry sauce and hundreds and thousands. Police said he'd topped himself.
