What does democracy mean to you? I have a distinct feeling it means different things to different people. To me it means “of the people, by the people, for the people”. I can’t help but feel as though that’s why they’re working so hard to dehumanize us. To make it seem as thought it’s not for us.

I just spoke at a small intimate rally for Defend Democracy. It was the first time I got into what John Lewis would have called “good trouble” (politically speaking) anyway. The element I loved most was how I was able to share my message in a way that hopefully inspired those already showing up 💪🏽
