There is significant value in repeatable, documented process that can be followed reliably. However, if you are unable to operate outside of said processes and think clearly on a deviation to the norm, this is self-limiting behavior and you should eradicate it immediately.

I see a lot of people cheering and rooting for the assassination that occurred today. Certainly Brian Thompson was no ally of the common folk, but not sure he deserved an execution. That’s something his kids will need to cope with, too. All I feel is sad. Our society is so broken and desperate.
