David is a great dude and should definitely get snatched up by a publisher soon, but in the meantime, hit him up!!!

Very proud of my oldest, a.k.a. @pldigital.bsky.social, who dropped a new EP and single today! pldigital.bandcamp.com/album/extend...

if you think every voice actor is a millionaire, you are not immune to propaganda and would not survive the winter, sorry.

Jusus fuck. I shouldn't have to say this but DO NOT SIT DOWN at a protest when violence starts.

Check out my #TTRPG stuff! My Adventures In The Unknown is antifascist role-playing! Punch Nazis and fight fascists in a contemporary world! AitU has a simple system influenced by the first dice pool #RPG and is inspired by the heroic pulps of the 30s and 40s (with less racism and sexism).

I kid you not, my work knows that I do drawing on the side and someone in the office told me AI could save me time and my response was "but I like drawing" and it broke them. They didn't know how to answer, they just couldn't comprehend that people make art because they like making art.

if you're still on Substack, you hang out with Nazis. You should not be on Substack unless you like Nazis, and we're gonna have to assume you do. It's not even remotely subtle that Substack lurves them some Nazis.

Funny memories of Len Wein, BOTD 1948. 13thdimension.com/paul-kupperb...

Today's the birthday of the late Len Wein: masterful writer, editor, mentor, and all around terrific person. Here's a tribute I wrote to Len a few years back. www.jmdematteis.com/2017/09/reme...

Important for US activists to understand that laws cannot protect you. Armed soldiers are on the steets. They are violently arresting judges and mayors and US Senators. They are kidnapping people from churches, elementary schools, and hospitals. Your only protection today is anonymity, opsec,

Cool news.

Hey folks. We got hit with a $600 charge for The Ancient we hadn't been planning on so I'm going to list some jewelry to cover her polyp biopsy (in her nose.) Anything from Hilary or Becky on here will go towards vet stuff but new stuff coming. www.peculiarityshop.com

the "experts" are: —two guys from something called the Network Contagion Research Institute which only punches left and is funded by an Israeli surveillance entrepreneur —a grad student who disagrees with the premise of the article —a guy from CSIS, which has zero expertise in domestic policy

It's been a rough week in music.

1) There shouldn't be SuperPACs. 2) There DEFINITELY shouldn't be SuperPACs in local politics.

Today is the birthday of writer & editor Len Wein (June 12, 1948-Sept. 10, 2017). He cocreated Swamp Thing, Wolverine, & most of the new X-Men when he helped revive the team in 1975, and wrote virtually every major hero at Marvel & DC at some point.

I've been asked a few times why I make the games I make, as a designer. My answer is always "I make the games I want to play." That's what makes me happy, to have more games that I want to play. Like with what Alex said, it certainly isn't because of the money.

Reminder that I AM LATINA AND PROUD. I am the product of immigration - my grandmother was undocumented and entered the country from Mexico as a baby. My mother was a fierce, gorgeous Latina woman of Mexican and Spanish descent.

I have a handful of 1st printings (the same as v5 of the PDF) of Adventures in the Unknown that I made to sell/give out at MomoCon last month. If you are interested in a print copy for $20 (covers the book and shipping) let me know.

“Don’t wave the Mexican flag” is assimilationist language and a bizarre call for loyalty to a nation that tried to exterminate the Indigenous people on this land as a human reality.

The scream I scrumpt. 💀💀

I remember hearing about this years ago on Coast to Coast AM, one night (of many) when I couldn't sleep. And the EVP recording from the site waking up (and freaking out) my cat who was sleeping up next to me while I was listening.

RFK Jr’s ACIP pick, Martin Kulldorff, said one of the most disturbing images from the pandemic was a toddler crying about having to wear a mask. I see toddlers cry about everything all the time, and I found it far more disturbing to see refrigerator trucks full of body bags outside of the hospitals…

In a storyline that feels ripped from a satirical sci-fi novel, the world's most talked-about AI, ChatGPT, has been royally humbled at a game of chess. www.geeknative.com/1...

There’s a Shade short tucked into the back of issue 10 of DC vs Vampires! Here’s some of my favourite bits from the first half ❤️

Every flashbang could instead be a meal for a poor kid. Every hotel room for a National Guardsman deployed to fire at our neighbors could house a homeless vet. Every "less-than-lethal" bullet pulled from a journalist's eye could be already needed healthcare for anyone else. All of this is a choice.

It has been a bad week for American music, between Sly Stone and Brian Wilson passing away.

“.. Jesus, that ear. He should donate it to the Smithsonian. .. He made all his records with four tracks, but you couldn't make his records if you had a hundred tracks today.” - Bob Dylan, on Brian Wilson #RIP “Good Vibrations” (1966)
