My research & PhD were absolutely reliant on @flybase.bsky.social It is an amazing & irreplaceable resource - not just for the #Drosophila community but for so many other model organism researchers. Its loss would have a profound impact on our ability to advance research across the board.

This weekend escaped the rain of Glasgow for sunny Dundee to watch my daughter Darcy, as the God Aries, participate in ‘Meet the Gods’, part of Jeremy Deller’s Triumph of Art installations supported by DJCAD x the National Gallery. A fantastic interactive display.
