Decent guy, husband to my husband, caretaker of Claude and Lulu. I'm a #foodie, I'm a feeder. I'm getting older. Full on Seattle liberal! No crypto. No DM's! Have a bio and postsπŸ’™πŸŒŠπŸΆπŸ•πŸΊπŸˆπŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ #blackhistorymonth

I'm ready!

Delightfully decadent dinner. A classic Caesar salad and a mushroom risotto with dried porcini mushrooms and fresh wild morels. Both loaded with the really premium 48 month aged Parmesan. A bit over the top, but it was a craving.

Get out! Get out! All over the US tomorrow, Sat 6/14 is "No Kings Day" get out there, been seen and be heard. There are countless protests all over the country, be a part of that number. So many communities across this nation have events planned. Stand in your front yard with a sign. Be a voice!

I love the color of this rose. Sadly, the plant already has mildew. An issue with my garden.

It's gray outside. I have been in my office for hours catching up on paperwork. I have been listening to violin concertos all damn morning on You Tube. I just love the violin. Violin music is music you can feel, it has texture, it can be a whisper it can be powerful. Violinists possess so much skill

Good morning. I got my miles in early today. It'll be a somewhat busy day, but I'm not going to overdo it.

Good morning, it felt good to get a long walk at the park today. Lately my walks have been a little shorter and closer to the safety of home. Yesterday's heart procedure, a cardio version, was successful. My heart is back in sync, they say it sounded great.

I like this pic. I love estuaries. This is from Skagit Wildlife Refuge. I could spend hours just sitting on one of a few benches. I'm sure there would be stunning sunrises over the Cascades and the estuary mudflats at low tide.

The Olympic mountains are the backdrop for the bird and wildlife sanctuary we visited this morning. The preserve occupies a small part of the Skagit River delta. The estuaries are a birth place for all 5 varieties of local salmon. I'd like to visit at sunset for sure.

Crazy week. I was supposed to be on medical leave, that didn't work so well. Too much phone time with Aetna, Dr. offices, hospital financial offices, Medicare, insurance broker. Because their negotiations fell apart, my procedure on Monday will cost $6k. It's that or wait 8+ weeks. Hectic week.

Damn social media memories! I really miss my buddy Claude. I miss him and Lulu so much. I hate it.

This just makes me so fucking mad. I hope they find this man and let him rot in a cell the rest of his life. I want images of his beautiful daughters on the wall of his cell. He should never forget their previous faces. www.ncwlife.com/news/decker-...

Woohoo! I was discharged on Sunday evening. The procedure is scheduled for 6/9. I have 3 bosses, their boss called me today "you were working while in the ER and while admitted to a room. As of today, you are on medical leave, upon return on the 9th, you have just 2 properties." Yay, garden time!

That POS Kristi Noem, yeah, the lady that kills innocent animals, that Kristi. She wasn't killing them to practice hardening her heart. She's soulless and heartless, not a single bit of empathy in her. May she rot from her cold inside outward. I want to know she suffers. Let her feel their pain.

Still at the hospital. Numerous tests and blood draws. I got a temporary monitor to collect heart data. Med changes again. Other procedures discussed, but my preference is to stick to the original plan for a procedure on the 9th. I told bosses to get me help and drop two properties I manage. Over it

Now that's my kind of selfie; hell, nobody looks good in the ER. My coming in was prudent, I had an A-Fib episode yesterday at the grocers. The pharmacist was an angel. My BP was 179/111 a record for me. They may do my procedure today, instead of the 9th. My heart rate and BP are too irregular. 🫀

The first wild daisy I've seen so far this year.

Damn! It looks like somebody forgot to take the trash out. Things are getting stinky. Come on Bluesky, help rid ourselves of this trash, y'all know what to do.

The wild roses are perfuming the park.

@jkovarik.bsky.social and any of my GF friends, these crackers are incredible. Hell, cracker lovers, these rock. Perfect cheese crack, crisp yet sturdy. I only found them by overheating a customer in the specialty food shop I was visiting. I'm afraid they'll run out at the shop.

I'm looking forward to Wed the 28th. The high temps will be in the low 80's. That's pushing my heat tolerance level. The cool part is that the tides will be the lowest of the year. Yep, my butt is going to the beach for photos.

I overate and don't care. Salmon filet seasoned with just salt and pepper, the asparagus, the same, but a little dry thyme. Then there's the sourdough panzanella salad, yum! This was summer fare but I'm waiting for summer weather....

No walk today. Thursday, issues kept popping up. I planned on an office day. Busy until 1:00 at work. 1:15 I got a call, water coming from light fixtures in a 1st floor unit. I raced over, eventually found a failed water heater. 3 floors of units soaked. Got home at 8. Make-up time, at pc at 6 AM.
