Friday the hubs and his sister took Claude and Lulu to Skagit Valley and their favorite park in Anacortes. We're on Whidbey Island today where they got a short walk at Fort Casey. We're filling their final days with their favorite places. And we're crying a lot.

We haven't been eating well lately. Hubs and I are depressed about the dogs. His sister is coming over today to see them one last time. She was the one who found them as abandoned puppies. I made a huge batch of baked potato cream of broccoli soup for us.

We're taking the dogs for a bonus drive today. This is really hard for me to type out. We've agreed to set Claude and Lulu free. I've reached out to a mobile euthanasia vet. They'll assess their health and work up a timeline. My world is about to shatter; we've cried all day.
