I figured out why I feel unsettled watching The Pitt. I equate the same feeling I get watching most zombie flicks. I don’t know where things are headed, and the characters are fighting for survival.

If your reply to one of my posts is “please, kind sir, gimme money for [REASON]” I most likely will block you. One, I do not have the disposable income I had in my youth prior to my family. Two, I am more likely to share any money with organizations or people I am more familiar with than a stranger.

I am tired of the same, stupid YouTube ads... "BULK UP AND BE A MAAAAAAAN!" "Ogle scantily clad women!" AI voiced nonsense. Canned muzak without audio clues to what the ad is about. Why not target advertising based on, oh, I don't know, products related to my subscribed feeds? 🙄🤦

We met online long before dating apps. Yahoo had searchable bios. New to Austin, I searched for people in the area around my age. I asked her about stuff in her bio and where her bio pic was taken. We agreed to meet somewhere public for our first date. Happily been together nearly 25 years.
