It was never uncool. In 1776, 1/3 of the colonists in America were for revolution (the Patriots), 1/3 were against it (the Loyalists), and 1/3 didn’t have an opinion 🙄. And when the Patriots won, most of the Loyalists remained, and we’ve been dealing with their 💩 ever since, including a civil war.
