The Central Electoral Bureau in Romania has rejected pro-Kremlin candiate Călin Georgescu's candidacy for the presidential election. He has 24 hours to file an appeal with the Constitutional Court and it has a further 48 hours to decide. The fascists in the US will no doubt be screaming shortly.

Călin Georgescu, pro-Russian presidential candidate in Romania arrested today and taken for questioning. 47 properties of associates searched including that of bodyguard, Horațiu Potra where €900,000 was found in an undergeound safe. Potru and girlfriend were photographed in Moscow in September.
