A Trumpian shoe I’ve been waiting to drop has dropped: The (now-misnamed) DOJ Civil Rights Division is looking to file a “pattern or practice” suit against Minneapolis’s DA. This is the type of case usually filed against abusive police depts, now turned on a reform DA. Am sure more are to come.
