For years I had this vague memory of a terrifying episode of Sesame Street where everyone had to flee a fire. Children coughing in smoke filled hallways while Big Bird screams "everyone is still inside!!" I never met anyone else who remembered it and thought it was a weird nightmare, until now.

My wife put on this old Sesame Street Christmas special from the 90s, and I can't get over how they just went ahead and have The Count these bat/gargoyle wings.

My daughter is getting into My Little Pony and I've watched 5 or 6 episodes with her. So now I have to ask: what was the deal with Bronys? Its better than a lot of other kid shows, but not THAT great. Especially for adults. How did it spawn such am obsession?

I've been working on this Tetris style game where the blocks interact with each other. Fire spreads, and ice melts. Soil grows trees or can be baked into glass that shatters when hit. It's the first time I've got a game into a somewhat playable state and that's actually fun to play.

Anyone remember a Nintendo in the early 2000s that compared Nintendo to having a drug problem? There was a homeless man pushing a shopping cart full of old games, talking about how he could quit if he really wanted to. No one seems to remember it, and it was a bizarre marketing strategy.

I just watched an old video that was using a record scratch sound effect as a sudden interruption and realized it's been a while since I've seen anyone use it. It's kind of crazy how long it stuck around. What would the modern substitute be ?
