Hmm… I ordered something off eBay listed as “new” but clearly came damaged and opened as well as a few other issues, so “not new” and reported the listing to eBay. They “found nothing wrong with the listing”, so that’s disappointing tbh, now to contact the seller and see if they’ll do anything

Phew, did a bit of adulting and replaced a half broken power outlet we’ve had in our house for a while (the top half worked, the bottom half didn’t). It was both very satisfying and slightly terrifying as my family historically is… bad with raw electricity. But it’s fixed now!

Something I’ve been thinking about recently is the impact and lack of acknowledgment of “After the fact” soundtracks get, basicly music in games (or other media) that while in the moment doesn’t stand out and distract you from the experiance, but later when listened to you realize how good it is.

With that I’ve reached the credits of FF14 Heavensward! Overall I enjoyed it more than a Realm Reborn! Good music, great character moments that made me cry, and it certainly was much better paced, though it still suffers from plenty of “walk here, go there, walk back, no go back to the 3rd person—“

Saw the new Captain America, and tbh… I really enjoyed it! Sure it’s not “perfect”, but it was fun to watch, had some real good emotional moments, and had some pretty solid acting with real heart! It was also nice imo that I enjoyed it as a Captain America movie, not a “setting up marvel movie”

Eventually managed to play MH wilds with my friends (Capcom make the invite system more intuitive) and besides breaking the game by getting on my mount as a transition happened, it was fun… quirky compared to rise, but not bad. I’ll probably wait for a possible switch 2 port rather than double dip

Emulation is a hilarious and fickle thing. Downloaded a fan hack, test on computer, works. Add to analogue pocket, can’t find it. Delete it and put it back on the pocket… still nothing. Google issue, “maybe it’s a file limit thing?” Look at rom again. Notice it has a / in the name, remove /… works.

Marvel rivals is hilarious sometimes! I’m trying to complete the season mission of 100 assists, a lot but not undoable… my first match as invisible woman I got mvp, the most kills on my team, a kill combo, aaaaaand like 2 assist... I was both very impressed, and very annoyed🤣
