Relatable 🤣 No matter what plants people tell me are hard to kill, I've managed to exceed those expectations every time.

I couldn't agree more. It does bother me that a PhD student withdrawing would be considered a bad sign on my supervisory record when in fact, it may have been a very wise and insightful decision on the student's part, supported totally by their supervisor.

The measles outbreak in Texas is reminding me of the public letter Roald Dahl wrote about losing his daughter to measles in 1962, just before the vaccine was publicly available.

I've just cut a grant application in half, literally. It only took about 90 mins. So then I felt simultaneously really impressed with myself and aware that this level of productivity can only mean an afternoon slump 🫠

Research on health inequalities among the Irish in Britain has fallen into something of a lull since the 00s, so this is an important update from @roswillis.bsky.social . #spéirghorm

I was just awarded a Digital Badge for a course I completed last semester: "GenAI for Teaching and Learning: How to do it right". Hopefully my learning will benefit me, my colleagues and our students!

As the owner of a Dad and a husband (who is also a Dad), I support this statement.

Hi #SocialPsyc feed. I’ve removed “social psychology” as a tag phrase for this feed to try to make its posts a bit more intentional and relevant. So, from now on, the only hashtags that will get posts included in this feed are: #socialpsyc & #socpsyc (neither one case sensitive)! 👍
