It’s so hard to connect the dots though.

Supporters Praise Trump For Upholding Traditional American Value Of Supporting Murderous Dictators For Political Gain

Also revealing was Vance’s answer, that he didn’t need to go to Ukraine because he had seen a lot of videos. Permanently online, like a slightly upscale Kemi Badenoch

Here's what the idiots in the White House utterly fail to comprehend. They and the US came out of that argument weaker. Zelensky came out stronger, with Europe rallying behind Ukraine more than before. They came out looking like petulant idiots; he came out looking like a leader with integrity.

"History will remember this day— when an American President and Vice President abandoned all we stand for."

No, the meeting did not go badly for Ukraine. It exposed in the most undeniable, unequivocal way possible the pro-Putin commitments of the president and vice president. That was information Americans and allies needed to have clear before them.

Could not agree more. The Prez & VP are shameful, embarrassing Putin puppets & a disgrace to our country. 🤮 #SlavaUkraine 🇺🇦

I have covered presidential politics for 40 years. This was the most juvenile display by a President and Vice President I have ever seen. Other presidents treated their enemies with more respect. This is a low point and a dark day for the US. Totally embarrassing.

Every news outlet reporting Elon Musk's comment about accidentally canceling Ebola prevention efforts and quickly restoring them should also say they haven't been restored, they're still canceled, the outbreak-fighting teams are dismantled, the money is gone www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...

So that probably kiboshes Trump’s mission to get the #NobelPeacePrize.

🚨 WORLD’S RICHEST MAN BUYING OUR DEMOCRACY 🚨 Elon Musk is set to pump £78m into Nigel Farage’s party—a sum that would allow Reform to flood our politics with targeted ads. Maybe other countries allow billionaires to buy elections, but not here!

The world's richest man, who controls the world's biggest (dis)information system & has a seat in the world's most powerful government, appears bent on reordering British politics. That's a new challenge for UK democracy, and we need to take it a lot more seriously. www.thetimes.com/article/6c2c...

For 150 years, far-right demagogues have behaved in eerily consistent ways. Yet every time one emerges, we act as if we've never seen such a thing before, and we have no idea how to respond. My column on the startling lessons we can learn from history. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

We keep doing this do we? We keep pretending Brexit is a good idea? We keep kidding ourselves we’re ‘in control’? We keep denying the costs, the losses, the hassle and the sheer stupidity of the whole sorry debacle? Honest to god. Surely we must face up to this idiocy one day.
