We are looking for healthcare professionals working with patients with Hereditary Angioedema to take part in a research interview. Please do get in touch to know more. £20 voucher available for those who are eligible and take part. #hereditaryangioedema #research #healthcare #immunology

I advocated with Trainee Health Psychologist Sarah Olaluyi and #HAEUK in the House of Commons yesterday. #Keymessages 1) Those with HAE need access the best medication for their own circumstances 2) A&E staff need the tools and training to identify HAE 3) HAE patients need PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT

Delighted to share our new paper from the University of Staffordshire #healthpsychology team exploring the experience of #breastfeeding #twins with #tonguetie doi.org/10.1016/j.mi...

This is going to be a tough one. We have an 11 page long table of reviewer recommended paper revisions, all requesting additional details. We also have 20 words spare in the manuscript before reaching the maximum word count for the journal 😅 @academic-chatter.bsky.social

Treat staff members like human beings and they will be happier and healthier... Who knew? Well... Lots of us! Better workplaces are compassionate workplaces which recognise workers as people not machines. Similar findings in our work with CBT therapists: onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10....

A good person to follow for any of my network interested in #digital #mentalhealth #therapy

Having the right policies in place will support #breastfeeding rather than adding to the barriers. We need longer paid maternity leave, paid infant feeding breaks, flexible and family friendly working practices and improved environmental design www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti...

What needs to change to better support #breastfeeding? Well... Lots of things... Hear all about it in our paper journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.... Also chance to read about a #novel research approach #WorldCafe and how we used it in person and online.

I am an Associate Professor of Qualitative Health Research and I have a #youtube channel where I post videos about my #research including #qualitativemethods #breastfeeding and #healthpsychology . You can take a look here: www.youtube.com/@DrAmyBurton...
