Both FRG & Rose Gauntlet have already announced they are not attending Gen Con this year. Is this going to be just a few pubs skipping out or a mass exodus? Looking like a terrible year for cons, and if the biggest US-based con is having issues, imagine what smaller ones will look like.

Made this cutie tonight. Not a big SD guy but the boyf thought it'd be fun to each build half of a Stardust Memory SD set. This is just a quicky snap build, really want to clean this up & paint it up as the Neue Ziel is such a fun design.

Today I sent out a rulebook to one publisher, and a whole game to another. Times suck but it helps to celebrate the little victories! 💪

I’m SICK of everyone bringing politics into boardgames. #boardgames #bgg

entire board game industry: I want to get off Mr Bones' Wild Ride.

Really great talk about some of my favorite games found in UFO50. Found the part about genres especially interesting - I would have definitely put Party House in the roguelike deckbuildy basket but I would have been very wrong.

Someone asked if I'm planning on making a PnP for Propaganda available, and I'm sort of torn on how to go about it. I'm tempted to offer it for free (the game already has a lot of outside component requirements), but I don't want to disregard people who've bought a copy. What're people's thoughts?

Big fan of The Cost, excited to see such a sleek reprint announced! Curious what else has changed besides this gorgeous new cover art.

What are some of your favorite games where you control a neutral character as a core part of the game? Someone or thing that is not controlled by any singular player but they exert shared control over? Stationfall comes to mind. What else?

Finally got Kaiju Table Battles played the other night Had a great time with the starting cast & hoping to make our plays of it a weekly thing so we can open up envelopes & explore the system. We did open one new kaiju already so I am sure we'll be fighting over who gets to use them next time

Learned the other day I've been playing Scout incorrectly for a long while. 🫠

Thinking over a game designer patreon as a concept, mulling over what I could offer to patrons. - Monthly games via PNP/free online service? - Going over sellsheets? - Playtesting of patron's prototypes? Consultations? - General Q&A? Do any of these sound enticing? Is anything obvious missing?
