If you've never had pertussis, let me assure you, it's dreadful. The "100-days cough" is real. I lost over 20 pounds trying to breath, in my 40s. Imagine what that would do to a little who doesn't have that much to lose. Which is why babies & Elders are at risk for death from pertussis.

Thanks to Labour we now have 1503 more GPs in the NHS than we did on 1st Oct 2024. An extra £82m funding and cutting bureaucracy, including stopping ring fenced money being spent on anyone but GPs (thanks Tories!) has made a big difference. An extra £889m funding this year will build on this.
