Dudes. I just found out in blender that alt+S just moves stuff along normals, so if you do face select and edge select, you get different results. And also just using it to slide stuff along the normals is really handy even when you're not shrinking/fattening.

I feel a little silly. Stopped watching Gundam Reconguista after an episode cuz two girls get slapped in a single episode and it really turned me off. But apparently this is a joke in Gundam? There's a lot of weird white knight/damsel misogyny in Gundam but I guess I gotta give grace here.
