When designing the intro title scene of our Captain America recap last weekend I used simple wooden impacts and combined them with fire crackles and wooshes. I also had some wood creaks handy from a previous project. Cas'es bushy hair is silent because it is made of teflon and has no air resistance.

The character designs of the Captain America: The First Avenger recap cartoon. Made back & forth with @casvdp.bsky.social

Not that I have any intention to see the new Cap movie in theater, but these are always hilarious

We made a recap of the first Captain America movie, enjoy! #marvel #captainamerica #cartoons #animation Produced by @casvdp.bsky.social and written & directed by @imajunation.bsky.social www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVal...

Your outie records a kazoo and patches it into a vocoder for that spaceship thruster sound.

I deleted all my portfolio from Envato/Audiojungle as of today. The reason which has to do with the purchase of Envato by Shutterstock last year and my disagreement with their changes to the terms and conditions. I am still offering most of my collection on Pond5: www.pond5.com/artist/dreik...

Being outside in the freezing cold reminded me of the fact that humans are vaping pens too, just with an inbuilt cheesy-fleshy flavor.

When audio people get new cookware of course we sample it first before actually cooking a curry in it. 🤷‍♂️

I hacked my own website to show Mastodon and Bluesky icons in the footer because the theme I use didn't have it in its assets. 10 years of webdesign experience still comes in handy.

That’s more like it.

When it was the 2010s and you used your NEC 4:3 TFT a little to often for working in the mixer window 🔳

My DAW looks exactly like yesterday, nothing's changed. #synthsky #severance #lumon

There must exist people with innie personalities that have recessed outie powers but only when they are on the toilet or inside salad bars. We need to find them ALL

They found a way to accurately translate all the bird calls

The design of the Kawai K1 somehow looks very similar to the Yamaha CS1x (and also AN1x) that came out almost a decade later. I wonder what went on behind the scenes during the conception of these synths. I did talk to the designer of the CS1x a while back but we never talked about Kawai. #synthsky

How I cook my lasagna: shit ton of garlic: ☑️ shit ton of basil: ☑️ caramelized onio: ☑️ lots of 🍖 meat: ☑️ mega ton mozzarella di buffala: ☑️ gulf of mexico amount olive oil: ☑️ freshly made lasagna sheets: ☑️ four utopias full of polpa: ☑️ excessive baking at malliard temperatures: ☑️ hot:☑️

When you figured out you can convert all your project stems into lossless FLAC and your DAW just quietly supports it, effectively increasing your data capacity by a dimensional multiple - which immediately ascends you into an audio being of pure alpha energy. Thank you, Steinberg 🙏#synthsky

they're coming straight out of pixel town

Improving on the string layers from yesterday night. It really helps having some extra time to make everything sound good and passable to listeners

Coaster Supremacy

The most ironic part is that I found it via Amazon Prime - a company that faces criticism for high-pressure work environments, inadequate breaks, safety issues, anti-union tactics, and reliance on precarious gig workers. We're all in it, we are all perpretrators.

Everyone should be aware of this amazing movie and Stanley Milgram's work. We create agonizing machines in ways we often overlook. Every day, we comfortably press buttons, easing ourselves into a dystopia of suffering. Step back and protect others! www.youtube.com/watch?v=sngG...

Bluesky's head of crocks department is seeing all your skeets

Can someone please enlighten me... why are simple Youtube links still not opening properly in the Youtube app here in Bluesky? I think this is a pretty big deal. Nobody likes modal webview popups with the crippled video UI inside.
