Think I'm going to start regularly streaming LeetCode solutions

Thoughts and vibes today?

Bet you can't say "Duolingo English" five times fast

I think I'm genuinely scared for the first time about the times we're about to be living through. Usually the belief that the evil will be thwarted by its own stupidity keeps my anxiety leveled out but... This time, the more I learn, the more I realize they're actually doing it.

...in the wake of the #CFPB being dismantled, my CrispHighFive idea is actually starting to sound more and more reasonable. ...God we're living in the dumbest timeline.

New app idea: It's an online marketplace like Facebook Marketplace or think Craigslist - and it will be called "CrispHighFive", and it will have a unique mechanism for verifying its members and filtering out scammers and scam accounts.

Oops 😬

When you're in a Sublime cover band you actually DO have to practice Santeria.

Might be time to create a house remix of the axolotl song

New App idea: This one's been rattling around my head for the better part of the last 8 or so years now, but its an interactive history exhibit where you're given a blank timeline and are asked to provide a single node: a single event in time - whether that's your birthday or a historic event...

Now the true test begins

This my cat. She's also my profile pic. I love the fuck out of her.

Ugh playing the computer in chess is so frustrating sometimes. I make a "?" Move and the AI is like "Ah! Here's mate in 32!" Followed by a brilliant sacrifice or a check every turn Ughhhh

Weird coming back to Maschine 2 after what's basically been a decade of not using it.

Today is the first day I'm really feeling the Adderall take effect, and the silence carries the same weight as a childhood home that's become an empty nest.

Idea of the week: a parody of mobile games like ball sort puzzle, where the user is presented with a maze wall activity toy like those you find in doctors waiting rooms for kids.

Hot take: The way American elite institutions are interpreting the improvements in throughput per compute from DeepSeek as a threat reveals the unspoken understanding of AI as a tool for subjugation as opposed to the empowering and liberating technology its mythologized as in marketing.

If you were to hire someone to flesh out a Minimum Viable Product for an app you thought up in order to have something to pitch to investors, what would you pay for that service?

What are the odds you'd be interested in watching a college grad work his way through leetcode problems via livestream on youtube?

I think I'm too afraid of the internet and any kind of digital footprint I might leave behind. Even on sites like this which should be somewhat safe spaces for me to express myself, I feel watched and uneasy. It feels very much like my entire life has been lived within a panopticon of sorts.

Crazy games of EDH last night. Was playing Zaxara (Hydra tribal deck, basically) and the guy to my left whips out this gem: gatherer.wizards.com/pages/card/D... so I end up basically being stuck in "draw, land for turn, pass" for the rest of the game.
