Four posh kid teenagers on the train, dressed wannabe street discussing their lives and friends. ‘I’m like actually learning Cockney rhyming slang’ says one. ‘I just know “apples and pears”’ says another. Kill me now

Discrimination against anarchists!

Finally, evidenced of a small scale alien invasion in early twentieth-century London 👽

Madrid score

So when is this remontada happening, y'all? I've been waiting to see it.

Martinelliiiiiii!!!!!!

‘Are you Tottenham in disguise?’ sing the Arsenal fans in Madrid 🤣

Next season I hope the coaches talk to the coaches players about silly yellow cards. It has hurt us too many times. #COYG

I remember when BBC radio commentators actually described the match play

I wish Ian Dennis would just commentate

team news for Arsenal as expected. Amazing for Lewis-Skelly to start at the Bernabéu in his first season for us!

'guess i picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue' #COYG #RMDARS

nerves kicking in now #COYG

Mariona clearly PoTM but the AWSC pick Forde who, while brilliant, went off at HT 😀

And Pelova makes it 5 ❤️

Meadoooooo! Great football by Kim Little to make that goal. 4-0

frightening by PSG that goal

Stina from Mead from Forde Clinical 2-0

Caitlin Forde opens the scoring after a great cross by Maanum 1-0 #COYG

“I was just following orders” was not a defense at Nuremberg. And it won’t be a defense in the future here.

The fact that no laws were broken in the felling of the #Whitewebbsoak tree only shows that we need laws to protect trees. Instead of locking up Just Stop Oil protestors let's prosecute companies and individuals who deliberately harm our environment.

www.mbplc.com/our-brands/ Whitewebbs oak tree was felled by representatives of Toby Carvery who are part of this group.

Toby Carvery is owned by the same company that owns Harvester, Brown's and a whole load more. If you love old trees you should boycott them all. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Freya: yes I do need the whole sofa.

It has taken Nick Robinson seconds to ignore the fact the UK would be the only G7 nation without steel security so he can have a pop at a @uklabour.bsky.social minister. Tedious and infantile. #r4today

the newspaper coverage of the Jack the Ripper case is fascinating and worthy of a drama doc like Written In Blood, but could this have been just as entertaining/effective if the makers had tried harder to be historically accurate? Or do we have to allow a large dollop of creative license?

There are some very sound historians on Jack the Ripper: Written in Blood so I'm surprised they allowed so many errors thru. e.g. washing the writing off the wall in Mitre Square, despite this taking place in a completely different location. Maybe they had little or no control, which is a shame.

not sure what Cass Pennant's connection to Whitechapel is.

Games day on campus

Smudger calls it: 'Newcastle are a very physical side, they are overwhelming United'. They have skilful players too (e.g. Isak, Bruno, Murphy) but it's the physicality other teams need to be able to compete with.

next season's top 4 (not necessarily in this order): Arsenal Liverpool Man City Newcastle

Manchester United just awful at the back

Zirkzee goes down clutching his hamstring, referee stops the game. Gabriel goes down clutching his hamstring, referee waves play on. Double standards

Textbook dreadful defending that

Newcastle playing with United like…
