One of my kids is an exceptional athlete who will go on to…be a NARP like everyone else. Our investment in competitive sports has already paid dividends because of the friends she’s made and the experiences they share. I like to think being challenged at each level is building character too.

The Rockies have played 49 games. They’ve allowed 53 runs in the first inning. Opponents are hitting .350/.403/.570 (.420 wOBA) against Rox pitching in the first frame. Feels like a great way to get off to a 8-41 start.

This kid is 15, and so has a moral clarity and uprightness that no adult elected official would or could ever have. There aren't really and never have been two sides of this issue, but if it has to be argued as a binary thing I don't see how anything less than this could seem like the side to be on.

I went to the Baseball Hall of Fame and as it turns out, they do tell the story of the game in the museum, with the best players and best teams and best tales. Maybe more people should go to the Baseball Hall of Fame and then they’ll stop making this bad argument!
