Reminds me of the years before same sex marriage (or as we call it, marriage) was legal in all 50 states. We’d drive cross country “we’re married! Now we’re civil partners! Oh now we have no legal connection but our son is adopted by both of us.” So. Fun.

Not too many. Not too soon. Period. I’ve taken care of pneumococcal meningitis, septic shock from super infected varicella, meningococcemia with loss of fingers and toes, rotavirus where I had to give IO fluids, pertussis in a tiny baby, more RSV than I can count. And all of it was awful.
