Black and queer folks have been out here shouting from the rooftops for years about what was going to happen plain as day but some people just wanted to find out for themselves. 👀

If an institution is encouraging you to avoid words like "trans" be it on slides,talks,meetings, grants you name it as a way of being "cautious", remember they will do exactly same if the word is "Black", "Hispanic", "Indigenous", "Woman" etc. Sit with that for a minute, then decide what u will do.

Today is the international day of the Woman and Girl in Science. To all badass women, scientists keep doing what you do: discovery, mentorship, and hard work. YOU belong in SCIENE. To others, uplift the Women scientists you know, cite them, promote them, sponsor them, invite them - be an upstander.
