If that cabinet meeting was the fellating they're willing to do in public, imagine what it's like in private.

He has always been cluelessly stumbling into accidental success, and confusing it for skill.

The woo to complete implosion path has turned out to be *REMARKABLY* short.

The only 'overhang' this SOB has to deal with is the one hiding his mushroom.

Sitting down with the family to figure out which ER, urgent care, and clinic each of us should be taken to in case of an injury because we're all on different medical plans, and god forbid you get your life saved at the wrong physical location, even if it's closer. This nation is broken.

Make them *want* to go back under their rocks.

I have yet to meet someone who hates DEI who wasn't an utterly mediocre person, at best. They know they can't compete on a level playing field, so they want to ensure the field is tilted towards them. Sadly, they also believe the field has always been level. Propaganda works.

'Slip-up'. Uh huh.

Oh noez. US walks away from demanding complete capitulation and surrender? Don't threaten Ukraine with a good time. Jesus, these people.

Entartete Kunst. Plain and simple. I have warned and warned this was coming. Educate yourself about this.

I thought 'real men' didn't give performances in makeup.

"If you'd just stop fighting back, I'd stop beating you" as foreign policy.

As the parent of a spectrum kid, I just want to say... fuck you. Fuck every one of you supporting this, with every fiber of my being.

•••••BREAKING••••• Army Gen. Michael Erik Kurilla — who leads U.S. Central Command — used a secure U.S. government system to send Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth classified information regarding Houthi attack plans that Hegseth promptly turned around and leaked on his personal phone via…

Why is Hegseth not being considered as a prime source of oil? I mean, it's just sitting there on his head, no drilling necessary.

A government website long used to provide the latest guidelines on managing Covid-19, has now been replaced with a page proclaiming the virus emerged from a lab in Wuhan, China and that Anthony Fauci, the Biden Administration and others worked to cover it up.

"A force *NOT* to be reckoned with." The stupidity, it has no bottom. I wouldn't put this guy in charge of the setup of chairs at the Junior prom.

Finale of Daredevil: Born Again was as pointy as Matt's horns. "Resist. Rebel. Rebuild." Sadly, I think we're past step 3 being simply 'Reform'. We're going to have to rebuild our society from scratch. Here's hoping we do it better next time. More compassion, less capitalism.

"Privilege is not an accomplishment." That quote is going to stick with me. What a perfect encapsulation of the utter idiocy we're mired in from all sides.

Hey, evangelicals... time to choose between race and religion. Which one do you care about more?

No matter how paranoid some of us felt we might be getting, it wasn’t nearly enough.

DOGE is most likely the largest kompromat trawling exercise outside of Russia. Ever.

But it is very effective at creating more MAGA voters in a few years. Or they just die. Either way, a win for MAGA.

We'd be a banana republic, except we can't afford bananas.

Welp, so much for literally centuries of sanctuary precedent. The goal and lesson: you have nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, we have power over every aspect of your life. That's how police states operate.

But "state's rights", you know.

Folding like a paper doll the family puppy pissed on has got to be humiliating as hell. I love that for him.

When discussing changes over time, the *rate* of change is often very important in determining the effects. Losing 20 pounds in a year, probably healthy. Losing 20 pounds in a minute, that's an industrial accident. Losing 7500 pts in 8 months is a down market. Losing 5500 in four days? Crash.

Big buckets of popcorn.

We are speedrunning the Declaration of Independence, folks.

I have found that I get more awareness of what is going on in my state legislature from GOP texts fearmongering and urging me to call and demand my reps vote X, than I do from DNC texts urging me to call for them to vote !X. Still useful, I thank them for the reminder to request !X. Then I block.

Lessee if I have this correct… We liberated Iraq, Afghanistan, and Vietnam… And today is Liberation Day for us? We’ve definitely been invaded by a destructive force driven by the White House for political purposes, so... that tracks.

It's big block of cheese day!

The news re: African American Museum bring to mind... "The very powerful and the very stupid have one thing in common - they don't change their views to fit the facts. They change the facts to fit their views, which can be uncomfortable if you happen to be one of the facts that needs changing."

But a journalist did? The firehose of lies is rupturing.
