My wife and I love watching some miniseries on Netflix, and we esp love this in foreign languages. Check out Cassandra in German which was seriously disturbing. Also, the Cook of Castamar, set in 18 century Spain

Worried about my father- he had 1st time Covid about 3 weeks ago, and stopped testing positive after 5 days. Now he is feeling exceedingly tired to the point of having to rest x time/day > hour. I wonder if at 81 this might be his lot for the rest of his life. He was v fit and full of energy prev.

I’m going to post roughly a link a day to my 30-odd MFL pedagogy screencasts. The first one I did was about listening. Trainees could learn a lit from these. Usually around 20 minutes each. youtu.be/tQhh6b6BTJI?...

Well hello mate

Not quite the relaxing time at Rosebud beach today, nasty argument between a couple. So close to a physical fight. They were looking after some very young kids too. Really horrible. Between taunting and swearing, throwing things, I was phone in hand ready to call the police. Eventually the guy left.

Watched 2 really good movies today - the impossible and Tetris. The G&Ts to accompany the movies were delicious too

Thinking about my grandad Peter who told me the story of his last amorous escapade, aged 91, having to negotiate 3 flights of stairs to reach the chamber where the lady was waiting. He died in 2000, aged 94 after he broke his hip riding his bike the year before. youtu.be/sRaa9loXllY?...

Tried selling all the Lego we have through the designated company. They said sorry we can’t buy it right now. But now getting several emails a day trying to sell me Lego… grrr

Dad leaving his home now to come to Oz. This is what it’s like where he is. It’s a 40C day here when he lands… he is 81. Fingers crossed all goes well

I’m really proud of the courage Gisèle showed even up to the speech she gave after the trial. What strength. This is someone who is making this world a better place.
