I'm still enjoying @bsky.app, but it's lost a bit of that initial vibe as more users have migrated. More kneejerk political takes, more "Smash that like", more hustlers hustlin'. It's inevitable I suppose. I know it just takes a bit of discipline and feed maintenance, but I miss that early shine. 🙃

This is interesting, but I'd like to see some examples before I'm willing to commit to having the same media outlets that neglected to cover him in a way that was honest enough to stop him in the first place provide the commodified anecdote to consequences and resulting anxieties of that failure.

While inactive, I'd been hanging on to my X account & handle for...reasons. I've since realized that; A) few of my analog world friends even use it, B) anybody I was connected to has migrated here or is available elsewhere, C) it's redundant, toxic & mostly unpleasant. So I deactivated that shit. 🎉
