Californians are already reaping the benefits of CA High Speed Rail: electric Caltrain, SF's Central Subway, and LA's Regional Connector. Projects like The Portal in SF, LinkUS in LA, Metrolink and Capitol Corridor electrification, and inland rail to San Diego all need CA to #FinishTheLine.

This lot (photo taken on a weekday) is literally next to Riverside Metrolink and has been vacant for the last 5 years. It's walking distance from a bus depot, a park and downtown Riverside jobs, but it's not legal to build housing there. SB 79 would fix this.

Trump has a number of interrelated goals for the US. He aims to 1. Make Americans poorer 2. Make Americans less happy 3. Make Americans less healthy 4. Make Americans stupider and more ignorant He only feels happiness when he makes somebody else's life measurably worse.

True or not, boys and men perceive themselves to be left behind and without a clear idea of how to exist in the world as men. We either fix that, or continue reaping the consequences.

the thing about chasing what you think is public opinion is that if and when things turn you will have made a bunch of statements and taken a bunch of stances that you’ll have to disavow. probably a better strategy just to say what you actually believe and stand by it. anyway, this guy sucks.
