There is no 'LGBTQ+' category or community. Gay men and lesbians are neither emotionally nor politically allied with trans people, and their interests conflict with those of trans people. Right-wing gays and lesbians are an important part of the anti-trans coalition.

This is wishful thinking. Lesbian feminists were among the first to organise against trans women, almost 50 years ago. It is clear that some lesbians are physically disgusted by them, and hate them as persons, and that cannot be explained by ideological differences alone.
