Maybe Trumpism is the inevitable culmination of everything that is wrong with America, and sooner or later, it had to come to this. Maybe not voting for Harris wasn't accelerationism as much as it was giving up the pretense that radical reform was ever a possibility.

The Covid lock-downs start looking good in hindsight. Imagine you could go back to 2020, and the most scary thing would be getting sick from a virus with a reasonably low mortality rate, compared to small pox in any case. If you say you wouldn't go back, I don't believe you.
