Agentorangeguy assisted me to totally overhaul the basic usecode & headers so that the code fundamentals of U8 Exult are all in order. For many, this is a boring and uninteresting piece of news, but it's a big step forward. Also, the initial conversation with Devon is pretty much fully implemented.

Happy 2025, friends! Ultima 8: Exult became official in September, a s hort break on work during Christmas & new year. 2025 will be the first full year of work on U8 Exult, or Pagan: Exulted Edition as I like to call it. Building out the full Sorceror's Enclave now!

The basic layout of Tenebrae in Ultima 8: Exult has been altered to be more in line with the official cloth map of Pagan. So it's a bit more open. However, we recently found this design map of Tenebrae on the Codex. Thinking of using elements from it to tweak the Tenebrae layout further. Thoughts?

When The Guardian finds the Avatar floating in the ether, he is wearing the Serpent Armor. And yet when The Guardian drops him into Pagan it seems as if The Guardian has decided to change the Avatar's clothes. Ultima 8 Exult will fix this with visual continuity in the armor. Thanks to agentorangeguy, we have a way to jump in Ultima 7 now. Will it be implemented in U8 Exult? Probably, but the dungeons will not be built around jumping like they were in the OG game.
