Two people are fucking dead and two more shot and this greasy pig thinks it's a big joke.

What happened in Minnesota is a direct consequence of the violent way that Trump talks about his political opponents.

I’m taking over as the menswear guy. Men should rotate through the same four band t-shirts for 35 years. Replace the shirts with identical shirts if the holes in them get big or you get too fat for them

Five minutes from now the Rothening Hour is upon us....what will @davidjroth.bsky.social unleash on the conflict between our Big Beautiful Boys?

It’s weird to live in a time when basic principles like cruelty is wrong, cheating is empty & the idea that curiosity, generosity, originality, the satisfaction of earned accomplishments & loving intimacy are the center of a good life feel like countercultural concepts

AND ALSO WITH YOUSE

you know who else came from chicago and was on "a mission from god"

An American Pope who's from Chicago and has spent his ministry working with poor, migrants and other marginalized people at this moment in time is an incredible blessing and message. I hope those in power are paying attention.

Where Robert Prevost, the new US-born Pope, stands on climate change: "Prevost is outspoken about the need for urgent action on climate change" collegeofcardinalsreport.com/evidence/car...

“The pope will be from Chicago” sounds like an 1880s Republican’s dire prediction for if we don’t stop Irish immigration

It occurs to me that we now have a Pope who has almost certainly been to Veterans Stadium.

"Chicago Pope" is like a 1994 SNL sketch. Airs at 12:20am, the only gag is that Chris Farley has a mustache and is doing a big accent. David Spade and the guest host (Joe Mantegna) keep breaking during it.

GAAATA FEW TINGS TO SAY ABOUT DA CUBS FIRST

Really concerned they are going with traits and measurables instead of a Pope with demonstrated production at the bishop and cardinal levels.

Props to the folks at the marathon who brought a (well-behaved) live pig to spectate this morning.

"Near production" is absolute gold.

Pope Francis was the first Jesuit pontiff. Social justice — not a buzzword, but a real tradition — was central to his worldview. He frequented refugee camps, hospitals, prisons. He rebuked Trump and Vance’s mass deportations. He stood for service, and against cruelty. RIP.

Such a great video for an absolutely terrific song.

We're in a car driven by somebody who is blackout drunk. A clip from today's @morningjoe-msnbc.bsky.social:

Americans voted against the most successful economic recovery of any nation on the planet for this, because they were mad at their servants being paid more and listened to liars who made them feel good.

TEENJUS

Spending $25 million of my own money to accidentally make even more people hate me and vote against my dogshit ideas
