I like how other companies think they can take on Steam by treating it like any other competitor, make a pale clone of it and just shove it in everyone’s face. That doesn’t work here because Steam is too good as a client. To make a pale clone is to go farther than any of the current attempts.

I am continually impressed how much discord goes out of its way to keep users happy, while being the best free option out there but the users still act like discord has actively made the platform worse somehow. Like yeah it’s changed over the years but the free tier really hasn’t changed.
