Months ago, I complained about no bike parking at a new, nearby Aldi. Update: Though Aldi never replied to my emails, there is now a 🚲 rack! It's leaning slightly and is not anchored to the cement, but it seems sturdy enough to lock to while shopping and is located near the entrance. I'll take it!

Always be aware of your surroundings downtown, you might be pleasantly surprised what you find. I came across this lovely little mosaic sidewalk "repair" and waited. Few people seemed to notice it until they saw me pointing my camera at it first.

It seems almost unavoidable at this point that we are headed for a deep, deep recession. Just based on 200K+ federal firings & pullback of contracts, the March employment report (to be released April 4) seems certain to show bigger job losses than any month ever outside of a few in 2008-9 and 2020.
