In an official capacity, Trump recently stated that "he who has the gold makes the rules". This the second part of a evil twist type joke about Jesus' 'golden rule' of treating others as you would want to be treated. Seems very anti-christ like to me.

It is an unfortunate truth in life, that any person or group that is willing to break the rules (including ethics), has a HUGE advantage. The more they are willing to cross the line, the bigger their advantage. Apparently, the main reward for playing fair is a clear conscience.

High finance can be difficult to grasp. Having the world's reserve currency supports USA supremacy. I have been a watcher and participant in financial markets since the late 1990's. I have been through the 2001 tech crash, 9/11 crash, 2008 subprime crash and the Covid crash. I cannot remember any correction/crash caused by a single person or policy in that entire time.
