When Cursor (ai-powered software development code editor) is “on” it’s straight FIRE, doing 🤯 things that make me worry about job security and the future of work. But, when it’s not, it’s absolutely trash. And this can happen *any* time for *any* reason. All of a sudden, it will shit the bed.

Got a little homebrew @vercel.com going with automagical preview branch deployments for both aws infra and nextjs frontends in muh turborepo monorepo complete with Slack notifications that I'm already getting sick of ✨

If I were a frontend developer wondering, “what should I be doing in this bizzare age of ai whilst the backend folks seem super busy and folks don’t care about shiny buttons so much right now…?” I’d be relieved to know the answer is, as it always has been: 🌲 Abstract Syntax Trees 🌲

Quite unstable, I’d imagine. That’s my stance on crystals, if you ask me.

I swear to Jeff that AWS Fargate and Application Load Balancers hate each other jn real life and are only “keeping it together” for us kids—bc that’s how they act together whenever I’m around.

Hard pass, v0. Never trust the client 🙃

So, GenAI absolutely BLOWS at terraform and that’s quickly becoming a key adoption criteria for me (ipso facto: 🤮)—how’s that for declarative?
